What to expect at St. Anselm Anglican Church

We meet for worship at 11:15 AM every Sunday in the sanctuary of Gethsemane Lutheran Church on the corner of Madison and Saint Charles.

On Sundays, you can park in the lot between the church and Citizen’s Bank or use street parking on Madison, Belle or St. Charles and enter through the center doors by the bell tower.

If you’re familiar with The Book of Common Prayer, you’ll recognize our service. If not, it’s easy to follow! There’s a printed Order of Service each week that guides you through the prayerbook, and Father Sean references page numbers often in case you lose your spot.

Kids and Worship

Children of all ages and stages are welcome at St Anselm. During the service, parents of young children (infants and toddlers under 3) are welcome to use the nursery located at the back of the sanctuary. We also have the “Blue Room” - an area for parents whose kids (ages 4-7) need a break from the service. The service is livestreamed to the room so that parents can continue to engage in worship.

Our Congregation

St. Anselm is a small congregation, but we’re constantly growing! Our average Sunday attendance is 60 people, so if you’re looking for anonymity, this might not be the place for you.

Although our worship style is more traditional, we wear what’s honoring to God and comfortable to worship in (particularly in the summertime with no air conditioning). For some, that means jeans; for others, a suit or dress. We hope you’ll feel comfortable regardless of your clothing decision.
